In Genesis 4:26 we are told, “At that time men began to call on the name of the LORD.” The purpose of Antioch’s prayer ministry is to do just that. We want to call on the name of the LORD… in praise and adoration of who He is… in confession and repentance so He will hear our prayers… in thanksgiving of all He is and has done… and in intercession for others.
There are several opportunities to get involved in our prayer ministry.

Read this week’s Prayer Bulletin.(click here) Jesus said in Matthew 18:19-20, “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10, & 12 teaches, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Prayer is vital to our personal walk with the Lord and to the unity and effectiveness of our church in reaching the world for Jesus Christ.
