Steve has been in ministry for 20 years and has served as Antioch’s pastor for 14 years.

 

Before ministry, Steve worked as a landscaper, teacher and coach. His passion is to see people develop as fully-engaged followers of Christ.

 

His hobbies include: running and working out, hiking and fly-fishing and reading.

 

Steven and Desi have been married for 23 years. Their son Andrew and his wife Gini live in Maggie Valley and are expecting their fist child. Their daughter Megan and her husband Brandon Gilliam live in Ohio.

 

 

 

Married for 20 years to Mike and the mother of 4 children ranging in age from 2 to 18 years, Lynne has a lifetime of experience working with children in the home and in the church. She has been a Children’s Ministry Director since 1995 when she felt a call from the Lord to step into this role at her home church in Florida. Bringing Christ into the education of her children, while home-schooling and also developing the Christian education programs in her church, has been her priority as a mother and as a leader in the church. Her first love is teaching in the classroom, but she also has gifts of administration, research, communication and planning. She is a people person and loves to hear stories the kids and their parents share about life experiences.

 

Since she was a young girl, she has embraced the church as God’s instrument and house where His family comes together to worship Him and to simply be together in love. Through that love for Him and each other, trust is born in the lives of children and the foundations of our faith in Jesus Christ are laid. Her purpose as a Ministry Director is to instill the faith and life skills into the minds and hearts of the children so that they will have solid Christian foundations that are so desperately needed in our world today.
