Our musicians are a unique group of people from different locations & musical backgrounds.  We are blessed that the Lord, in His intricate design, has assembled this group of musicians at Antioch Baptist Church.

 

Steven recently joined the musicians playing bass.

 

Dave is our drummer from Peoria, Illinois.  He began playing the drums when he was in the fifth grade and was playing on stage with a group by age 16.  He admits that for most of his life, he played for the wrong reasons and in the wrong circumstances.  However, in 2002, Dave rededicated his life to the Lord, after receiving Christ as his Savior in 1981.  He now wants to use his gifts and talents to worship the Lord and in doing so, lead others to worship the King of Kings.  Passion for the Lord is a critical ingredient in worship.  Dave has this, and you can hear it as he plays.

 

Byron is one of our talented guitarists.  He was born and raised in Folkston, Georgia where he attended Grace Chapel Baptist Church.  He began playing music in the fifth grade when he joined the school band on trumpet.  We are still discovering that Byron can play a variety of instruments and is willing to help our ministry in any way possible.  He is also an excellent singer.  Byron's wife, Judith, also sings in our choir and helps in the nursery.  They live in Clyde with their two beautiful children, Laura and David.

 

Freddie is a very talented drummer who is always willing to fill in when needed.  He is gracious and helps our music ministry run smoothly when Dave is unable to play.
