Small Groups

Purpose: Small groups are made up of six to twelve group members that meet regularly throughout the course of the year for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Antioch takes a variety of approaches to small groups in order to meet the needs, schedules and interests of the congregation:

Community Life Groups:
These are small groups that meet in the homes of church members during the course of the week. The groups meet bi-weekly and the majority of groups follow a Bible study based on the Sunday morning message. Some groups follow a topical format chosen by the group and approved by the church. The groups are strategically placed throughout the county in the Iron Duff, Maggie Valley and Crabtree communities.

In House Groups for men and women:
These are short-term studies that are ongoing and fall under the Women of Wisdom Ministry and the Band of Brothers. These groups meet during the regular Sunday or Wednesday night schedule.

Younger Singles:
The singles fellowship hosts a small group study on Sunday nights in the homes of our church members.
